Hello…. long time no see.

Ok so I talked to Joanna a couple days on the phone and via email and she showed me the brand new look we’ll be sporting in just a couple of days here at ABO.  I have to say - it’s gorgeous!

So keep checking back for updates on that.  We have nothing new to report…yet but we’re always on the case.

I don’t know if a lot of you know this… I happened to read it last week (or so) from TV Guide Canada’s Nelson Bronco.  There is some information floating out there about our AB which I am hoping turns out to be true!  This comes from CBS Soaps In Depth and I will get a scan of it later from my great bud Colleen!  I just wrote down the entire little blurb while at the mini bookstore in Macy’s on my lunch hour: 

A spy reports that Y&R is currently castiing a twentysomething Latin male to be Genoa City’s sexiest new attorny.  In Depth has learned that PASSIONS alum Adrian Bellani (Miguel) auditioned for the role and that the scenes included Heather and Billy.  Might the hearthrob be the new object of the legal eagle’s affection?

We can only hope!  He has the requirements down in spades he’s definitely sexy, muy caliente and he can act.  This would be a huge step up in Adrian’s career.  The Young & The Restless is the No. 1 rated soap opera for the past decade and then some.  I grew up watching this soap with my mommy and I know all about it, we don’t watch it anymore (I will on ocassion to see the hottness that is Danber [Daniel & Amber]) because honestly the soap became such a drag under former headwriter, Lynn Marie Latham who made the show unwatchable for us.  But if Adrian gets casted I’ll definitely watch on SOAPNet at night.  So… I want to say pray but I’m not sure.  HOPE that Adrian gets on the show!

Heather is played by Vail Bloom and Billy was just recasted with All My Children wonder Billy Miller who was just axed from AMC not that long ago as Richie but he was quickly scooped up by CBS to portray Billy Abbot.

Ok trying to type quick before I go to class.

I added a new image of Adrian at the Peter Alexander Flagship Boutique Grand Opening And Benefit event on Robertson Blvd.  Adrian looked muy guapo.  He was photographed with former Australian Home and Away soap actress Sharni Vincent.

Earlier this month on the 7th… Adrian attended the: Padres Contra El Cancer’s 8th Annual “El Sueno De Esperanza” Gala in Hollywood.  It was definitely a star-studded event with Eva Longoria Parker (Spokesperson), George Lopez, our very own Adrian Bellani and more.  I’m proud at the amazing work these celebrity ambassadors contiue to put into a wonderful organization.

I know this has nothing to do with Adrian but this is in part regards to the show he once worked on.  I was a little saddned to read earlier this week that James. E. Reilly had passed away.  You may know him as the head writer of various soaps from Days Of Our Lives to Passions and so on.

He’s the one who wrote those storyline scipts for Adrian’s Miguel.  I was indeed a fan of his writing up until early 2003 when Passions became just plain weird to me and unrecognizable.  Although I did like some of the things he did with Days when he came back that same year.  Plus he gave me one of the best pairing in daytime history:  Theresa and Fox (Therox).  I was never a Kay & Miguel fan since the show started in 1999 for me it was Charity and Miguel.  Plus the rewrite he did with Miguel was just… wrong.  But hey fi they hadn’t put out that casting call for a nuMiguel then we would have never found the hotness that is Adrian Bellani.  So in part I thank him for that.

He’s giving us some interesting… to say the least… storylines during his time on Days and definitely as the creator and head writer of Passions, there’s so many firsts with that soap I’m not even going to try and start listing them.

But he will be missed for his creative genius and wacky storytelling, if you were an avid viewer of Passions then you definitely know what I’m talking about.

On behalf of the ABO staff we’d like to extend our condolences to the Reilly family, friends and many of his co-workers from writers to actors.  We’re sorry for your loss.

01. Hi Adrian my name is Kacie from LA, I am literally dying waiting for your new movie to come out can you tell antyhing?
Hi Kacie, how are you?  Im actually in the same boat you are.  I would like to see the finished product.  Ive seen as much as you have from that little trailer on the site.  As far as when it is coming out I don’t know.  ABO, should have the latest info regarding the film.  Hope that helps.

02. Hi Adrian, where can I get an autograph from you???? Can I still use the same as for the address from Passions?
If you want an autograph, please let ABO know.  We will soon have a way for you to request them.

03. Are you working on any new movies or TV shows?
Hi sarah, at the moment I am not working on anything.  Im going out on auditions, looking for something new.  There is very little out there for my age range.  But im hoping something will come up soon.  ABO, will keep you updated.

04. ¿Está solo o tienes una novia?
Hola Jennifer, ahorita estoy soltero.  Haha te interesa?

05. Are you doing any new appearance in the future? You have been in hiding for a while, what have you been up to lately? Your biggest fan from New York Veronica!!
Hey veronica.  I guess you can say ive been hiding.  Ive actually been doing a lot of travelling over the summer while the business is a little slow.  There isn’t a lot of roles for my age range, and there isn’t a lot of new stuff coming out really.  There is a lot of competition in this town, but hopefully something will come up soon.

07. How was it working with Silvana Arias from Passions where she was you sister and now her playing your ‘boss’?
silvana is amazing.  Not only did I get to play against her, but she is a really good friend of mine.  We are actually like brother and sister.
In the film, although I was her boss, there was flirting going on.  Nothing is established, but in my preparation for the character, I made the choice that they probably had a little something in the past.  Freddy does live in her house, and gets to see her a lot.  Something must have gone down!  But you see its like hes jealous throughout.

08. Why did you not go to 101 after PASSIONS move network?
it was a difficult decision.  It was a couple months of waiting around until they told us we were moving to directv.  Some people start making decision.  I was one of the last ones who decided, and as a team we decided to leave.  Was is the right decision? Who knows.  But it was what I wanted to do.
